What the job was
A landscaping client had a vegetation cleanup in Pompano Beach: branches, brush and yard waste. They used one of our trailers to collect it.
The photo shows the trailer tarped and parked on a leaf-covered driveway under the trees. Tarping a load of loose brush keeps leaves and twigs from blowing out on the road.
The size and service we used
We supplied a 24-yard dump trailer, our largest. At 16 x 8 x 5 feet, it is a foot wider than the 21. The flat rate is $485 with 7 days and 1 ton included.
See yard waste and storm debris dumpsters for how these rentals work.
Why that choice fit
In general, green waste is about volume. Branches and brush are springy and full of air, so they take up far more room than their weight suggests. That makes the biggest trailer a common pick for a large cleanup.
Landscapers working in the yard all day also benefit from having the trailer right there instead of hauling loads off themselves. After a storm the same logic applies; our hurricane season debris guide covers that. Text photos to (954) 247-1399 for help sizing. One thing to watch on a yard job: old tires or batteries tucked behind a shed are not accepted and should stay out of the load.
