Have us demo and haul when you want the whole job off your plate. One crew tears it out, loads it, hauls it away and sweeps up, so you aren't coordinating a demolition crew and a separate dumpster on the same day. This usually makes the most sense for whole structures, concrete and anything heavy or awkward to break down.
Rent a dump trailer and do it yourself, or have your contractor fill it, when the demolition itself is light and you'd rather work at your own pace. A dump trailer rental includes 7 days and 1 ton of weight, with $120 per ton over that. Rough guide: the 15 yard ($350) suits a single bathroom or a small pile of heavy material, the 18 yard ($395) suits a kitchen or a small shed, the 21 yard ($440) suits a few rooms or a large deck, and the 24 yard ($485) suits whole-floor gut jobs and bulky structure debris.
Mix the two when it fits your project. Some homeowners have us take down the heavy parts, like a shed slab or a pool deck, then rent a trailer for the lighter interior work they're doing themselves. Text photos of the project to (954) 247-1399 and we'll tell you which approach fits.
