What the job was
The customer was a national demolition crew with work at a Best Buy store in Coral Springs. They needed somewhere to put the debris, so they rented a dumpster from us.
To be clear about roles: we supplied the dumpster and the crew did the demolition. We didn't perform any of the demo work on this job.
The size and service we used
This was a straight dumpster rental. Our dumpsters are dump trailers, delivered to the site and picked up when the rental ends. The post didn't record which size went out, so we're not going to name one.
Every rental includes 7 days and 1 ton, with weight over that charged at $120 per ton.
Why that choice fit
In general, a demolition contractor already has the crew and equipment for the tear-out. What they need from a local company is reliable container service: a trailer dropped where they need it, then hauled off on schedule.
Commercial interiors tend to produce bulky, mixed debris such as fixtures, drywall and framing.
Commercial sites also come with their own logistics, such as where the trailer can sit in the lot and when deliveries are allowed. Those details are worth sorting out with the property before drop-off day.
