Dump trailer rentals

Concrete and Clean Fill Dumpster Rental

Clean fill trailers are available upon request for loads of concrete, pavers, tile and dirt. Keeping that material separate from trash lets it be recycled, which on our real pool deck jobs cut the customer's dumping cost.

What's included

  • Clean fill trailers available upon request
  • Delivery to the job site, including early-morning drop-offs like our Weston pool deck job
  • Multiple loads when a deck or slab removal is too big for one trailer
  • Recycling of clean concrete, tile, pavers and dirt
  • Standard trailers for the mixed debris that is not clean fill
  1. Step 1

    Show us the material

Text photos of the concrete, pavers or tile and an idea of the area to (954) 247-1399.

  2. Step 2

    Plan the loads

We work out whether the job needs one clean fill trailer or several, and whether a standard trailer should handle the mixed debris.

  3. Step 3

    Break out and load clean

Keep the clean fill trailer free of wood, trash and other debris so the load can be recycled.

  4. Step 4

    Haul and recycle

We haul each full load away for recycling and bring the next one if the job needs it.

Which trailer to book

Concrete and dirt are heavy enough that volume is rarely the limit; our Weston pool deck job used an 18-yard trailer kept as clean fill. Ask about clean fill options when you book.

What counts as clean fill?

On our jobs, clean fill has meant concrete, tile, pavers and dirt. In general, a load stays clean fill only when it is free of wood, trash, metal scraps and other debris, which is why it goes in its own trailer rather than mixed with demo waste.

Pool deck and patio removals are the typical source. On one pool deck demolition, we dropped off a dumpster and handled multiple loads of clean fill (concrete, tile and pavers) that were recycled to cut the dumping cost. In Weston, we dropped an 18-yard trailer early in the morning for a pool company's pool deck demo, and the load was kept as clean fill and recycled, saving the customer disposal fees. In both cases the demolition was done by others.

If you want the slab or deck removed too, see pool deck and concrete removal or deck and patio removal. Not sure whether your material qualifies? Send a photo of the pile and we will tell you.

How heavy is concrete, and how does weight affect the bill?

Very heavy. The EPA volume-to-weight conversion factors list concrete at about 860 lb per cubic yard, dirt and sand at about 929 lb, and small rock or gravel at about 999 lb. That is three to four times the weight of household junk for the same space.

Standard rentals include 1 ton, with additional weight at $120 per ton. Masonry reaches that allowance after only a small part of the trailer is full, which is the main reason to ask about a clean fill trailer instead. Because clean fill is arranged on request, ask how weight is handled for your load when you get your quote.

Do not top off a clean fill load with trash or yard waste. Mixed loads can no longer be handled as clean fill.

Loading technique matters with heavy material. Spread broken concrete across the full floor of the trailer instead of stacking it at one end, and do not assume it needs filling to the top. A trailer that looks half empty can already be carrying a full load of masonry.

Can you handle big concrete jobs with several loads?

Yes. For a contractor's oceanfront project in Coral Gables, we hauled multiple dumpster loads of clean fill concrete. Miami-Dade service is available by appointment only, and restrictions apply; Broward and Palm Beach are served throughout.

For multi-load jobs, tell us the rough area and thickness of the concrete when you send photos, and how the site is accessed. Contractors can find more on repeat loads on our contractor dumpster page.

The reason multi-load jobs are common with concrete is simple: weight runs out long before space does. Planning the number of loads up front, rather than discovering it mid-job, keeps the crew working instead of waiting for an empty trailer.

Pool deck removals, driveway replacements and patio tear-outs are the jobs most likely to produce clean fill in volume. If your project is one of these and you also have mixed debris such as wood forms, old screen enclosure framing or trash, plan on a standard trailer for that material alongside the clean fill loads, so neither one has to be sorted twice.

FAQ

Concrete & Clean Fill Dumpsters: common questions

Do you rent trailers for clean fill?

Yes. Clean fill trailers are available upon request. Text photos of the material to (954) 247-1399 to get a quote.

What is considered clean fill?

On our jobs it has been concrete, tile, pavers and dirt. The load needs to stay free of trash, wood and other debris to be handled as clean fill.

Why keep concrete separate from other debris?

Clean concrete, tile, pavers and dirt can be recycled. On our pool deck jobs, keeping the load clean cut the customer's disposal or dumping cost.

Can I put concrete in a regular dumpster rental?

Small amounts, yes, but standard rentals include 1 ton and extra weight is $120 per ton. Concrete adds up fast, so a clean fill trailer is usually the better choice for larger amounts.

Do you break up the concrete?

Not with a trailer rental. On our clean fill jobs the demolition was done by the customer or their contractor. If you need the concrete removed, ask about our pool deck and concrete removal service.
